Is this a 5K Run or a 5K Walk and What Ages Can Participate?
It is both. The choice is yours. You'll be provided an official race time either way. More than half of our participants each year choose to walk. The trail is beautiful and flat and is stroller-friendly, too.

The event is open to all ages and abilities. Many young families join us each year, strollers and all. The route is off-road at Winding Trails and is safe for all.
Is this an In-person Event?
The 2023 Reid's Run/Walk 5K is being planned as an in-person event with safety precautions commensurate with social-distancing guidelines in place at the time of the event (May 21, 2023).
Is the event being professionally timed?
Yes. Your official time, as a runner or a walker, will be provided to you when you cross the finish line.
What does it cost to participate?

When is the last day I can register?
The last day to register on-line is Saturday, May 20, 2023. Same-day registration is available, too, but pre-registration will make checking in faster and more convenient.
What forms of payment do you take?
Credit/debit cards are accepted on this website for pre-registration. Credit/debit cards, cash and Venmo are accepted for Same-day registration (look for the Same-Day registration table the morning of the event at Winding Trails).
Can I volunteer to help with the event?
We can always use a helping hand with marking the route with signs, assisting with promotions, working the check-in table and other activities. Contact Liana Boghosian at liana.boghosian@AYACancerAlliance.org
